The Car Buzz Factor is calculated taking into account the following events that happened during the last 7 and 30 days: Car News releases, new Manufacturer Car Recalls, newly filed Consumer Complaints, new Factory Released Technical Service Bulletins, Office of Defect Investigation Activity and Member Car Comments.

The Car Buzz Trend is determined by calculating the difference between the 7 and 30 day Car Buzz Factors.

When trends are up means there is an increase in recent Car Reports and News items on file. Usually lower Buzz factors are better.
