I have a 2005 Audi TT it has about 94,000 miles on it. The first time I took it to the dealership to get the radio code, that went will.They check the car out and said everything look good. 500 miles later I took it back because
the alternator went out, at that time they said my upper strout bushings were wore out. So we them fix it. Now 750 miles later my radiator fans stays on and runs the battery down. I call the dealership and they said a control module went out , it would cost me $2000.00 to fix it!!!!!! So I'm alittle scared of taking it back to the dealership. |

It is a nice car , however its annoying to have to go to the dealership everytime the service engine light is turned on and pay 600-700 dollars for something that went wrong. For example; a water pump and thermostat failed at
44,000 miles..really? a chevy can do better than that. The turn signals stopped flashing at about 45,000 miles... The plastic oil deep stick came undone at 44,000 so did the rear breaks. Not to mention the headlight casing came apart at 38,000 mile and the dealer wanted 1200.00 to replace the head lamps. Get a BMW Z4 instead. |

Very good, EXCEPT: Dashboard instrument cluster failure - Twice - in 2 years! Fuel guage fluctuations, coolant sensor malfunction (had to replace coolant sensor to the tune of over $400! just two months ago), radio turns itself on
after I've exited the vehicle, etc. First time replaced under warranty. Car now has 50,000 miles and out of warranty. Additionally, intermittent headlight failure. Idiot light comes on, left front headlight out. Turn off lights, 5 - 10 seconds, turn back on, everything is fine. This also happened about 2 years ago, but on the passenger side. Both times, shop replaced headlight. Now new wrinkle -
when shifting gears (2nd, 3rd, 4th, and occasionally 5th) up, RPM's rev, engine revs and it seems to whir before catching gears. Only when shifting UP, never down. What's up? |

When it works, its fabulous. Great handling and powerful. Many nagging issues with engine sensors and subsystems like headlamps, hydraulic trunk opener, windshield washer, inside lights, etc. |

Excellent drive and gas performance, but the dash board instruments have gone wild lately! It resets, it gives wrong RPM, gas gauge readings as well as resets the clock and date at will. Also, parts are beginning to fall off
(antenna, glove box handle)... Mmmm |

I have had to change to windshield wiper reservoir plastic bottle 3 times on this car. This bottle fails for no reason other than the defect of the plastic or because of installation. I am sure others have had similar problems and
the bottle has not been modified or improved. over 300 bucks each time this must be a money maker for Audi and a drain on the consumer. |

I love the car. But, I have had some problems. Timing belt stripped and caused bent valves and scored the cylinder head, requiring a new head. Total Cost $3536.52. The fuel sending units in the gas tank malfunctioned causing the
fuel gauge to read incorrectly. The new sending units plus labor came to $551.88. I purchased new Michellin Pilot Sport A/S tires with a high tread wear rating and got 1 year and 19000 mile before needing to be replaced. The Good. Great handling. Fun to drive. With proper tires, fantastic in the snow. 27 MPG Average. |
