PLANT CITY, FL  05/05/12  n/a your comments here my 2011 cadillac has the 18 inch chrome wbeel peeling off. dealer says i hit a curb.i only have 3500 miles on it and no one else drives it. i did not hit any curb. i took the car in for warranty repair and this is the answer they gave. no warranty because i hit a curb.

Transmission sputtered and locks went up and down and fuel and gag gauge went to zero and stable trac said service and other things happened for a minute. Now how could they find the problem when it is intermittant. 
Cadillac  DTS   2010  Bob G. PROVIDENCE, RI  07/28/10  2.00 Car quality is not standard of the world as Cadillac claims. Had transmission leak at 1000 miles. Fixed and was told TSB .. bolts had to be sealed. Paint imperfections on trunk. Repainted. Doors moldings do not line up. Trim out of place. Sloppy build work on the DTS. 2 out of 4 chrome rims bubbled and peeled with only 2700 miles on them. Replaced under warranty. Will be the last Cadillac I buy. Had all new plastic chrome (window pillars) replaced around windows and doors as it warped. Defective rear door replaced.

Cadillac  DTS   2009  Mike F. FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ  10/18/09  5.00 Excellent car. GM has removed the option to disable auto door locks which is very dangerous. Rescuers need to break a window to extract occupants since doors automatically lock occupants inside. 
Cadillac  DTS   2009  Roger N. MILLIS, MA  09/18/09  2.00 Cadillac has cheapened the car considerably with extended use of flimsy plastic parts. The rear door handles on my DTS flex so much that sometimes the doors won't open. Also, the drivetrain howls loudly at 25-30 mph. Very annoying.

Shakes violently when packed for vacation when o downgrades. GMC admits to problem but will not fix. To expensive to fix or recall. I cannot in good conscience sell to anyone. Senior citizens stuck with this lemon and financial debacle to say nothing of safety issues. HELP!!!!!
