ford f-250 sd 2011 Kevin R. REDDING, CA 07/24/12 3.00 overheating issue with diesel engine, goes into derate when towing. At shop to be fixed.
Ford F-250 SD 2011 Lynn F. MADERA, PA 02/23/11 4.00 good mpg, quiet, engine light on,dealer says it's egr error, they clear it but comes back on in 2 or 3 hrs. they check it again, this time it's oxygen sensor error, they clear that 2 or 3 hrs light back on,and just keeps going back and forth
Ford F-250 SD 2011 James M. CENTER MORICHES, NY 01/13/11 4.00 This truck has accomplished everything i have wanted it to do, with some towing, f wheeling and normal day to day use
Ford F-250 SD 2011 Bruce M. Alexandria, VA 12/22/10 5.00 King Ranch model: Interior is roomy and comfortable. Console has a great deal of storage. Ride is unexpectedly smooth for type of truck. Engine noise is less than expected for a diesel. Synch/Nav system has many excellent features. Expensive, but feature rich and comparatively competitive to others in market.
Ford F-250 SD 2010 Bruce C. , 11/22/10 1.00 More ford diesel problems that they won't accept responsibility for. I told them that their 6.4 l motor keeps blowing my radiator. It's mine because according to them it's out of warranty. Three radiators in 65k, but according to ford there is no problem.
Ford F-250 SD 2010 Mark W. SEGUIN, TX 07/29/10 1.00 I have 2010 Ford F 250 with 3,000 miles. The truck stop running on me in traffic and nearly killed me.After towing at my expence the Ford dealer said the truck would not maintain fuel pressure. They have ordered a new high pressure pump that my truck was not designed with. It has been in shop all week and they still don't have part from Ford.I call this a LEMON.If it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it is usually a DUCK. LEMON COLORED. I am very un happy with Ford's customers service. I ask them to buy it back. They refused. I will never buy another FORD pruduct for the rest of my life.
Ford F-250 SD 2009 Kristi G. HASLET, TX 08/13/10 3.00 "cleaning exhaust" addition is useless unless you enjoy losing power.
Ford F-250 SD 2009 Clayton S. , 02/13/10 5.00 love it
Ford F-250 SD 2009 Tom D. PEACH BOTTOM, PA 11/20/09 1.00 I have experienced a death wobble they call it And Ford refuses to do any thing I was told to put new tires and have front end aligned but the wobble was so bad it broke the exhaust and bent one of my rims still I am told nothing is wrong with my truck. Any suggestion I tried to call in to the consumer line what a joke and I mean joke no one will help at all !! I very disgusted consumer I thought Ford was the best that's why i bought another 2010 Expedition and first day was in for motor repairs I have lost all faith in Ford and if no help I am going back to GM!!.
ford f-250 sd 2008 Becky R. OLDFORT, TN 11/05/11 2.00 I had my water in fuel sensor checked & rechecked around 36,000 miles since it kept coming on with no water draining out of it. I had just left the dealership when the light came on again. they said they would replace under warranty when I came back in for next oil change. so at 40,000 I had the sensor & housing replaced. at 63,000 it went out again & was replaced under the extended warranty I purchased when I bought the vehicle. This is ridiculous that this part is so crappy. the next 20-30000 miles & I will have to pay for it. My husband had a F450. His went out around 37,000 miles (out of warranty). We tried talking to Ford Customer service, telling them about mine, his dad's, his mom's, several friends' - all 2008 models with the same crappy part that went bad around 36-37,000 miles. They wouldn't help at all, so he got it temporarily working & traded for a Dodge after buying nothing but Ford products for 19 years.
Ford F-250 SD 2008 Cory P. , 05/26/11 3.00 no comment gas mileage is bad i have had 5 or 6 recalls a front seal on the crank was leaking and replaced at 9500 km under warranty now 3 months after my 3yr 60,000 km warranty is up power steering started leaking was told an internal seal was gone and i need a new power steering box 950.00 +tax my truck is mint and not abused this is not a part that should have failed. what does the heavy duty stand for the 67,000 $ price tag
Ford F-250 SD 2008 C A. BUNA, TX 03/28/09 3.00 none
Ford F-250 SD 2008 Dakota B. HUMBLE, TX 03/27/09 5.00 Good
Ford F-250 SD 2008 Randall W. SANDSTONE, WV 08/13/08 2.00 Around 11000 miles started having trouble with 6.4 diesel engine. It is getting regular When accelerating the engine it will miss, lack of power and it smokes so bad you can't see the traffic behind you. I have almost had an accident on several occasions due to this. I have been told this could be part of the break in, but after looking on the internet I see many people with this same issue on this engine. The check engine light has never came on and Ford says there is nothing wrong with it if it doesn't throw a code. I now have almost 18000 miles on it and I am afraid the warranty will expire without this being corrected. Any advice? The transmission doesn't appear to shift correctly. The AC takes spells when it doesn't blow cold air, but when it does work correctly it works great. After research on the internet I see other people have had this problem too. Very hard on fuel compared to 7.3, may get better with more miles.
Ford F-250 SD 2008 Joe K. MONTGOMERY, NY 05/26/08 3.00 sloopy steering, other than that no issues
Ford F-250 SD 2007 James W. DOYLESTOWN, PA 08/08/10 3.00 Same old problem with all ford trucks, calipers hang and destry brake pads and rotors. Not to mention the gas mileage went from 8.3 to 11.1 after calipers were replaced.
Ford F-250 SD 2006 Tim A. RED OAK, TX 09/18/09 4.00 It pulls great but have had several small, annoying problems.
Ford F-250 SD 2006 Roy R. CHULA VISTA, CA 08/26/08 2.00 I have been experiencing vigorous shaking on the right front wheel. It is so bad, that I almost have to come to a complete stop on the freeway. VERY DANGEROUS!
Ford F-250 SD 2006 Donna F. BAKERSFIELD, CA 05/14/08 1.00 I have had nothing but problems with this truck and Jim Burke Ford of Bakersfield!!It has been in the shop more than I have had it. I think I have a LEMON!!!!
Ford F-250 SD 2006 Michael H. DREWSVILLE, NH 04/09/08 2.00 brakes: both front and rear calipers were sticking. rears were replaced under warranty. front denied under warranty;said it was due to dirt and salt. 21,000 total miles on vehicle.
ford f-250 sd 2005 Jason B. WESTFIELD, MA 10/03/11 4.00 I like this truck very much, but I am starting to see bubbles in the paint on the rear fender and I just had to replace both backing on the rear breaks, they would no longer hold the e break clips. truck is very well maintained, never saw mud- never plowed and only tow a pop up camper every now and then. I hope Ford steps up and fixes this problem and reimburse people that have payed out to fix this manufacture defect.
Ford F-250 SD 2005 Prissy D. FORT WORTH, TX 07/11/09 3.00 Love this damn truck! But expensive to maintain! SOB keeps breaking down.
Ford F-250 SD 2005 Alan C. CYPRESS, TX 05/19/09 4.00 This has been an excellent vehicle used on highway 90%. Only problem after 5 yrs. is an intermittent power loss to the AC. Dealer says power module has to be replaced. 75,000 mi.
Ford F-250 SD 2005 Timothy Michael E. NASHVILLE, NC 07/30/08 3.00 engine noise
Ford F-250 SD 2005 BYERS S. SAINT PARIS, OH 06/25/07 1.00 Transmission bangs when shifted. Clutch pedal vibrates when pushed in about 1/3 only when transmission is in gear. Trailer connector bad at 3 months of age Ford would not fix. One pin completely corroded away which is the running light pin. I found this is a common problem and Ford has a programmed response of "moisture displacement". Truck is 4X4 and continually gets stuck even on damp grass. Truck has slid backwards down two different hills while in 4wheel drive. Ford says there is nothing wrong with the truck. Posi unit works ocassionally. Front drive shat twisted off while stuck in grass after Ford stated there is no problem with 4 wheel drive. Engine makes loud bugeling sound when cold 5deg. F. Drivers door won't close when cold. Windows freeze shut even when it is just frost. Seat belts lock up once vehicle is in motion until motion stops.

Ford F-250 SD 2003 George O. LAKE WORTH, FL 05/05/08 5.00 We have a 250 and a 350. Both have had rust probllem on doors just below window, rust breaking out from the inside.
Ford F-250 SD 2003 David K. PLANO, TX 07/03/06 4.00 Small turning radius Hard ride (not unexpected) Great otherwise
Ford F-250 SD 2002 Sarah W. NORFOLK, VA 04/05/09 3.00 3
Ford F-250 SD 2002 Randall W. SANDSTONE, WV 08/13/08 4.00 I bought this truck new. I have replaced the cam position sensor twice and carry a spare along with a 10mm wrench in the glovebox. It goes out without warning and could be VERY dangerous. Ford finally recalled these. The automatic transmission went out at 100,700 miles. The truck was sold to me for a new truck but had almost 900 miles on it when I received it. Ford refused to make the transmission good because it was past 100,000 miles. The Ford transmission mechanic told me this was a common problem due to a fault in the torque converter, but still no recall. I see on the internet where many other people have had this same problem. The brakes on these trucks are terrible for a heavy duty truck meant for towing. The rotors warp easy. Ford worked on them twice until the warranty was gone. Ford did not recall them but on their newer trucks they beefed then up to stay cooler. So they did reconize this problem. I have added an engine brake to take the pressure off the rotors. This has really helped. Rotors and brakes are VERY expensive for this truck even if you install them yourself! The drivers side seatbelt will not retract and Ford will not make it right because the warranty is expired. After looking on the internet I see this is a common problem as well. Should be a recall on this.
Ford F-250 SD 2000 Kevin F. GARDEN CITY, MI 07/07/09 3.00 poor quality oil pan - leaks
Ford F-250 SD 1999 Scott A. SEVILLE, OH 07/17/09 4.00 almost problem free
