gmc	terrain	2012	William M.	,	03/21/12	5.00	This is a wonderful vehicle. As yet, no problems what so ever. Lots of cargo room (went on a family trip). Handles excellent even with cargo full to the roof, and four adults. (Like it was empty) For a 2.4L 4cyl, it showed all the competition what performance was all about. Drove past them all on the highway without overworking the engine.(3000rpm 120km/h) Very quiet, stable, comfortable, everything at your fingertips. Outstanding maneuverability and handling for a vehicle that out weighs all the foreign competitors and even beats them all with excellent fuel mileage. 42-45mpg hwy. All wheel drive system works seamlessly in winter driving. (purchased new Dec. 29/11) Very safe and secure vehicle. Even connects your phone for you (blue tooth).

Every time for the same compliant the rattling on start up. I was told that GM does not know the cause or the solution of this problem. A number of sensors,actuators,the timing chain and sprockets, and the oil pump have all been changed.The problem still happens. After months of trying to get in touch with the GM area rep I waws to all the cuold do is offer free oil changes and tire rotation. what a LEMON

Poor service from GM dealer, take vehicle in comes out with more problems multiple times. #1 sounds like diesel at start #2 rapid ticking at cold start up #3 tapping or ticking sound very loud at acceleration. #4 steering skips/jumps/misses #5 car not set up properly almost conk out fluctuating rpms sometime too low others too high #6 transmission not shifting only working 1-4 not 5 or 6 After last service 5 days ago and new transmission and high rpms has resulted in poorer gas milage by 40% worst

I've put 16,000 miles on this vehicle since I bought it in January. I've never gotten over 21mpg, and that was on a trip from Tn to Ga. I've had the transmission serviced twice and been told that there was trash in the fluid(aka METAL SHAVINGS), but nothing to worry about. The little suv is nice looking but is lacking in head room and leg room. My children even hate it! I've had people stop and ask me on several occasions about this vehicle because they have heard GM's reviews and hype over this "gas saver". My view from an owner is I should have kept my Tahoe. The gas isn't that much different, i never had any service issues, and always had tons of room. I'm stuck with this "great deal" and hate it!!!

SPRING, TX	10/11/11	1.00	I bought this 2011 brand new I have had it in the shop 4 times for this loud rattle clanking sounds themselves knocks afterwards and they still can't fix it worst car ever I believe I have a lemon ! After waiting 5 weeks for parts and the car stalling out in me and then the engine light came on I finally had the solenoids and cam shaft sensors replaced. No we have been having surging issues when driving around 40-50 mph. I have spoke with GM district specialist who wont replace my car or do anything to help me. I am a disappointed customer who will never buy from GM again !!!

I just got back from Dealership and they said it was fixed. I found damage from mechanic that they say will be fixed, BUT GUESS WHAT Window still is giving me problems. Mechanic did a piss poor job as far as I'm concerned. I had a Toyota Corolla and it never gave me a days worth of problems at all!!!. I also have a Toyota 4Runner 15 yers old and same thing no problems. Thought I would buy American for once and I'm having problems right from the start. Guess I'll only buy Toyotas from now on.

THE ADVERTISED HIGHWAY MILES IS 32 MPG. MY HIGHWAY MILEAGE IS 23 mph. WHEN i BROUGHT THIS TO THE ATTENTION OF GMC SERVICE TECHS, THEY TOLD ME TO WAIT UNTIL I HAVE 5000 MILES ON THE CAR. IF I'M STILL DISSATISFIED WITH THE MILEAGE TO CALL THEM BACK.

The EPA must be in the tank (no pun intended) for GM. If I saw 16mpg on this 4 cylinder engine, I'd be thrilled. 15 on ECO; 13 or lower off ECO.

Now they are telling me it needs a new timing belt that is on backorder until maybe next week and that it will take 2 weeks to fix. #1 a car doesn't need a new timing belt until 60-100 miles, this car is just under 2 years old. #2 It takes 2 hours to install a timing belt. #3 I should not have a new car with this problem, especially paying over 30 thousand for it. #4 There is already a recall for 2010 Gmc terrain coolant system. I should get a refund. Starting my lemon suit. FKing fed up.
