It has a very sluggish throttle that hinders performance. Even though it has enough power, you have to put your foot down and wait for it. This also causes a safety hazard as the delay is followed by more acceleration than intended. I've almost rearended someone more than a few times since owning it. Isuzu mechanics ( 3 so far ) tell me that all direct injection ( 2004 only ) are that way. Has anyone else had this problem? any successful fix for it? |

It sounds like the valves are loose, or may just that oil has not circulated enough through the engine until it is at operating tempaerature. |
