MERRIMACK, NH	05/21/11	4.00	I have a 3.5 SR Leather Trim, 6 speed manual and everytime I start the car up and start driving a funny clang/clunk sort of noise comes from the fron end. Only when going forward not reverse. Will be going back to the dealer again, soon. It is a sound you do not even have to listen for. It is pretty obvious.

ALEXANDRIA, VA	11/03/09	4.00	great car, but have had issues. currently, i'm battling a whistling noise that the dealer has said is the wind deflector, and the only way to fix it is to remove the deflector. the problem is with the clips, which nissan has not changed or improved. anyone else have this issue?

Took it to the dealer and said they could not find anything wrong. There only explanation was, "it's normal with the metalic brake pads". It continued for several more months until I decided to take it back in and them recheck the brakes. This time they said there was a bulletin to replace the brakes and few other parts and have the rotors turned.
Nissan	Altima Coupe	2008	Robert D.	SAINT PETERSBURG, FL	03/21/09	4.00	Purchased this car used with 24,000 miles (fully loaded 3.5 version). Drivers seat rocked. Found this problem to be very common with the electric seats. Dealer replaced seat mouning rails and problem appears resolved.

MCHENRY, IL	12/03/08	4.00	after little over a year of ownership (dec 1,2008) upon preparing to leave for work i was very unpleasantly greeted with a frozen,dead battery. luckily, i was able to find a ride to work--could have extremely costly. there must be some defect in the battery, or nissan should do a better job of letting oil/lube shops know that they are using a 1950's style battery which requires frequent checking and addition of "distilled" water. Sincerely, bruce w, blazier. ps i hope other people do not experience this problem on a moderately cold day (frozen battery)
Nissan	Altima Coupe	2008	James G.	HERCULES, CA	05/15/08	4.00	The plastic parts on my car keeps melting out of shape. So far twice both side view mirrors have melted inward. The plastic tinted sunroof covering has melted once and the small triangular radio or cell phone antenna plastic peice on the roof has melted once. Now the dealership is saying that I or someone else (neighbor) is blow torching my car. What a rediculious statement and they will not fix it anymore. My car has less than 7,000 miles on it. I leave the car outside in the sun and the plastic parts cannot withstand the heat. Be careful buying this one. Either the plastic is made thinner than before to save money or the painting process being used is not correct. I dont know which.
