| Porsche | 911 | 2003 | Tim S. | WEST PALM BEACH, FL | 08/30/08 | 3.00 | Side cable snapped on cabrio top. Dealer service=5K for repair |
| Porsche | 911 | 1999 | Barbara G. | ARLINGTON, WA | 10/27/08 | 1.00 | This car with perfect maintence has a poorly manufactured block, allowing the coolant and oil to mix. There are many, many complaints on the web of this particular engine with customers with any amount of mileage and perfect maintence with the same issue. This is a costly error on the manufacture Porsche who has not recognized this for the consumer to fix this issue even in newer models. This is costly betweekn 10k - 15k to fix with the only fix being a new engine for the car. Even at that there is no gaurntee that the new engine will not do the same thing, as Porsche as not created a new design to fix this flaw. |
| Porsche | 911 | 1998 | Peter C. | Melbourne, Australia, AE | 11/17/08 | 3.00 | Contrary to all reports I have read, I still have to experience the RMS and other engine failure problems."touch wood". |
